Palestinian Key, 2018
wooden mouse trap and metal key
1.9” x 4.5” x 6.9”
The Palestinian refugee lusts for the key to their home. Persuasion for the right to return has been a trivial experience and securing such access is imperative, but it has not come without violent ethos. The door to home stands there, constantly being opened by intruders. The key used by the colonizer is in hand, while the native, reduced to animal, must endure torment. We still reach, even while expecting agony.
